Gordian is a Managing Director and Head of EM Sovereign Strategy at Standard Chartered, based in New York. Gordian is responsible for developing macro and credit views, trade ideas, and portfolio allocation for EM sovereign debt. He has 20 years of experience in fixed income research. Before joining Standard Chartered in 2018, he was Global Head of EM Fixed Income Strategy at Morgan Stanley. Previously, he held senior roles in Latam Fixed Income Strategy at HSBC and Lehman Brothers. He has been top ranked in Latam sovereign debt and local market surveys, including by Institutional Investor. Gordian holds a Master’s degree in economics from the University of Konstanz, Germany and conducted-level research and taught graduate classes in finance at the University of Mannheim.
